 It is a one-stop shop (often referred to as a “Tamm Center”) where you can complete transactions for multiple government entities in one place. This eliminates the need to visit individual ministry offices.

The center typically offers services from key entities such as:

  • Emirates Health Service (EHS) : visa medical

  • Ministry of Interior (MOI): Passports, ID cards, residence permits, visas, traffic licensing.

  • Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (MHRSD): Labor-related services.

  • Ministry of Justice: Notary public services.

  • Ministry of Health: Birth and death certificates.

  • General Organization for Social Insurance (GOSI)

  • Municipal services and many more.

Standard hours are usually from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM from  monday to saturday . Hours may vary on weekends and during public holidays, so it’s best to check official channels.

Required documents depend on the specific service. However, you must always bring your original National ID (for citizens) or original Iqama (Residence Permit for expatriates). Check the specific service requirements on the Absher or Tamm portal before your visit.


Yes, in many cases, but the authorized representative must have an official power of attorney (or a notarized letter for simpler tasks) and provide their own ID as well as a copy of your ID.

The center conducts mandatory medical tests for expatriates applying for or renewing their residence permits (Iqama). The tests check for infectious diseases and overall health as required by the emirates health service , weqayati

 


All expatriates (foreign workers and their dependents) who are new to the Kingdom or renewing their Iqama must complete the medical exam.

 

Hours can vary, but they are typically change fryday from Morning: 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM and Evening: 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM . Some centers may operate on Saturday mornings. Always confirm timings before you go.

 

You must bring:

  1. Original Passport/emirates ID

  2. Original Iqama (for renewals).

  3. A copy of your residency permit (Iqama) or visa.

  4. The appointment confirmation (digital or printout).

The standard test includes:

  • Blood test (for infectious diseases like HIV, Hepatitis, etc.)

  • Chest X-ray (to screen for Tuberculosis)

Wear comfortable clothing. You may be asked to change into a hospital gown. Avoid wearing necklaces, metal zippers, or any metal objects on the upper body.

Results are typically processed and uploaded electronically within 24 . You do not need to return to the center to collect paper results. The results are sent directly to the Ministry of Health 

If the test detects a notifiable infectious disease, the Ministry of Health will be notified. You may be referred for further treatment or, in some cases, it could affect your residency status. You will be contacted by the authorities.

 While there is no strict formal dress code, it is a medical facility. Please dress modestly and respectfully for a quick and efficient process.
